Our Story
Elexco Land Services(ELS) was incorporated by its founder, Jack Norman, in 1980 and has expanded client services to include transportation and pipeline rights-of-way, telecommunication rights-of-way, eminent domain proceedings, due diligence undertakings, appraisals, and property negotiations with urban and renewal boundaries.
ELS is a full service land company that can provide project management, leasing agents, right-of-way agents, title personnel, support staff, legal support through our In-House Corporate Counsel, and systems support through our data and information personnel. We maintain a large staff of experienced land agents to ensure the unique requirements of our U.S. clientele is met.
Our People
Niki Clarke joined Elexco’s legal department in 1999. During the first few years of employment, Niki gained diverse experience by shifting her efforts from legal to regulatory, marketing, property management, and ultimately, land. In 2002, Niki began working to help set up and manage, direct and oversee the expansion of the Company in the US. Niki’s high degree of specialized knowledge relating to The Elexco Group’s proprietary Information Systems and internal processes enables her to manage said unique systems, along with all administrative staff, in both Canada and the U.S.
Dan is a New York licensed attorney with a JD, and has been with Elexco for over nine years. He has significant experience in many facets of all different types of energy, utility and telecommunications projects in the northeastern United States, as well as other parts of the U.S. and Canada. Dan’s experience on these projects include the acquisition of land rights, preparation of abstracts of title, due diligence, and related project management. Prior to joining Elexco, Dan worked with several energy and telecommunication companies through an upstate New York law firm.
Corey Herman joined the Elexco team in 2005. He has worked in several facets of our business supporting a wide range of energy projects. Most of his career has been spent supporting and guiding our field/land Agents to become the best they can be. He has also spent a considerable amount of time in the field negotiating documents with landowners directly, as well. He has first-hand field experience negotiating O&G Leases, Mineral Leases, ROW and Solar development agreements. Corey is responsible for and supervises the day to day operations of all our field agents in every aspect of our business.
Dina Silvestro joined our Senior Management team in 2007 and brings with her over 20 years of experience. Her main role as Chief Financial Officer is to manage the overall Financial Operations for all companies that comprise The Elexco Group of Companies. Dina meticulously co-ordinates and oversees the day to day operations of the Accounting department in both our Canadian and American offices. Dina‘s diverse experience and knowledge stems from the management roles she has retained over the years in numerous multi-national companies involved in both the Manufacturing and Service industries. Dina’s extensive background enables her to deal with both the multi-company structure and the international components that make up the Elexco Group of Companies.

Since founding Elexco in 1976 and with many years of diverse practical and managerial experience in the oil and gas sector, Jack Norman successfully established and continues to manage several corporations, both inside and outside of the industry. His background in geophysics, and accumulated knowledge of the land service industry has enabled him to establish and co-ordinate the Elexco Group of Companies and affiliated organizations to meet the growing demands of the market place.
Jack still fills an advisory role to our management team when his uniquely valuable perspective is required.
Randy Hansen,
J.D., CPL
Founding Member
Since joining Elexco in 1985, Randy Hansen has gained years of diverse practical and managerial experience in the oil and gas sector throughout the United States. His responsibilities consist of the management and administration of land services, handling projects throughout the United States for independent and major oil and gas exploration companies, governmental agencies, and utility companies. Randy’s primary focus is to oversee title projects and personnel for all U.S. contracts. However, in his role as President, Randy further participates in the ongoing development and over-all management and direction of the company.
Randy graduated Cum Laude, obtaining his Juris Doctorate Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and was admitted to practice by the Michigan State Bar. He manages all land and legal functions of an in-house land position and in & out of house legal counsel position.
Randy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management and Finance), is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Michigan, and has been qualified as an Expert Witness in Huron County Circuit Court. In addition, Randy has completed numerous courses through the International Right-of-Way Association.
Randy’s broad industry experience throughout the United States, combined with his extensive academic credentials enables Elexco Land Services, Inc. to meet the unique requirements of our clientele.
